At Certified Hottest, we like our babes like we like our cars—fast, curvy, and turning heads in parking lots across America. We’re taking a pit stop to honor the real metal icons behind the magic: the Motor Trend Cars of the Year that coincide with the birth years of our smokeshow lineup.
It’s more than just chrome and curves. Each of these rolling sex machines laid the groundwork for a generation of goddess-tier greatness. Let’s take a joyride through time, from vinyl seats to lace panties.
🥵 JANUARY – KANDI & THE 1979 BUICK RIVIERA S

Born under a disco ball and conceived in a hot tub, Kandi came into the world the same year the Buick Riviera S won Motor Trend’s heart. This was the last Riviera to fully embrace old-school big-body luxury before the 80s got all weird with digital dashboards and hair metal. It was long, low, and lazy in all the right ways. Imagine making out in the backseat to a Stevie Nicks cassette, your wrist deep in someone’s feathered hair. Yeah. That’s the Riviera. Kandi has that same kind of energy — all plush upholstery and slow-motion swaying hips. Retro and unapologetically dirty.
🍒 FEBRUARY – ROBERTA & THE 1988 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX

A girl born in ’88? You know she owns a leather mini skirt and gives zero f**ks. The Pontiac Grand Prix of that year was a sharp-nosed bad boy that looked like it was built to snort coke off a dashboard. Boxy, bold, and pretending to be European, this was GM’s attempt to seduce your dad away from his sensible sedan. It had pop-up headlights, for Christ’s sake. ROBERTA is that car in heels—sleek, loud, and built to make you forget your girlfriend’s name.
🍑 MARCH – ASHLYN & THE 1982 CHEVY CAMARO Z28

There are women who walk into a room and turn heads—and then there’s Ashlyn. Born in ’82, same year as the Chevy Camaro Z28, she’s pure adrenaline and tight spandex. This was the ride for mullet kings and hairspray queens. The Z28 didn’t give a damn about your fuel economy. It was loud, low, and throbbed with V8 power. This was the kind of car that left rubber streaks in mall parking lots and hearts broken at prom. Ashlyn? She probably was prom queen. Twice.
APRIL – Jeremi & THE 1977 CHEVY CAPRICE

Born in ’77 with the Chevy Caprice as her celestial partner, Jeremi rides that fine line between Office Boss Babe and Saturday night vixen. The Caprice was America’s barge of decadence—sofa-sized seats, a hood that stretched across three zip codes, and enough chrome to blind an astronaut. Mystique glides like that car: smooth, unbothered, and 100% unapologetically thick.
👀 SNEAK PEEK: MAY’S BABE & THE 1992 CADILLAC SEVILLE

We’re not supposed to show our hand early with it being April still and all, but May’s goddess is coming in hot, born in the golden year of The 1992 Cadillac Seville. This was the kind of car that said, “I make love and power moves.” Sharp lines. Digital dash. An engine that purred like a woman who knows she’s out of your league. You’re not ready for her, but she’s showing up anyway.
So whether you’re into big bumpers, big engines, or big… personalities, just remember: our babes might be smoking hot, but the rides they rode in on? Absolutely legendary.

I was raised on Hot Rod magazine, eagerly flipping pages and hoping each issue came with a pin-up poster. I told my mom it was all about the cars—but let’s be honest, it was the cars and the barely-clothed bombshells sprawled across them. No shame, it was the golden era of muscle and mischief.
