Interview with Devin: The Man Behind the Magazine, his Hot Rods, and his Poly Relationship with me, his wife Beth.
Beth: Alright, Devin, I have to ask—why in the world did you start an adult magazine? Wasn’t the fun just supposed to be for us?
Devin: (laughs) Oh, trust me, I’m still keeping plenty of the fun to myself! But when you’ve got a knack for photography, branding, and you can manage a team of models like a boss, it felt like a good business opportunity. Plus, let’s be real—there’s a demand for it. People like art, and what better way to combine art and adult content? It wasn’t about just having fun—it was about building something.
Beth: Yeah, sure, I bet. But how did you even get into all of this? Photography, branding, managing models… how did that come about?
Devin: You know, it started as a hobby. I always loved photography, especially the old-school, glossy magazine covers. So, I started taking shots at events, and that grew into a full-on obsession. The branding part came naturally once I realized I could sell the vision I had. As for model management—well, that just sort of happened. Models need direction, and I’m pretty good at giving it. It was like everything clicked, and it evolved into something bigger than just pictures in a magazine.
Beth: So, you’re a multi-talented businessman now. (laughs) But let’s talk about something more personal—what’s this I hear about you restoring hot rods?
Devin: Oh, you’ve been snooping, huh? Yeah, I’m working on restoring a couple of classic hot rods. It’s a huge project, but I’m getting them in perfect shape. I want to do some photo shoots with models on them—like the old Hot Rod Magazine days. It’s going to be epic. The idea of capturing those cars with some serious horsepower and having models around them is the perfect mix of art and passion.
Beth: Sounds like you’ve got a whole vision brewing. You’re into bikes too, right?
Devin: Oh yeah, definitely. I run marathons, and I’ve always been into bikes—motorcycles, regular bicycles, you name it. There’s something about the freedom of it, whether I’m running a race or cruising on a bike. It’s a way to clear my head and get my body moving. It keeps me grounded, especially with all the projects I have going on.
Beth: Hmmm, sounds like you’ve got a lot of hobbies going on. But I’ve got to ask, since we’re all about honesty here—how do you feel about our polyamorous relationship? Is it everything you expected?
Devin: (smirks) You really want to get into this, huh? Honestly, I think it’s been eye-opening. I like that we’re exploring new things, pushing boundaries, and keeping things exciting. It’s about connection and exploring different dynamics. I’m happy with it, and I think it’s brought us closer in unexpected ways.
Beth: (grinning) And what about swinger parties? Got any scenarios you’re cooking up for the future?
Devin: (laughing) Well, if you really want the juicy details… I’ve got some interesting ideas. I’d love to explore some different situations, meet new people, and see where things go. But I’ve got to admit, one idea I’ve been toying with is setting up a little “playroom” in the basement. Maybe a dungeon setup with a jail cell… just for when you’re being bad.
Beth: (laughs) A dungeon? Seriously? Is this where we’re heading?
Devin: Hey, just for fun! I think a little BDSM could add a bit of spice, don’t you think? Nothing too serious, just playful. And who knows, maybe I’ll take it a step further and share you with others once in a while. A little variety never hurt anyone, right?
Beth: (raising an eyebrow) So, you want a BDSM thing and to share me? That’s quite the combo, Devin.
Devin: (grinning) Yep, I want to switch it up. It’s all about exploring, having fun, and keeping things fresh. Life’s too short to not try new things, especially when it comes to our relationship.
Coming in February…
